  2. You really confused me with the "E" areas! They control 12,000 down to 1200' minus Altitude yet you need premission to fly at a Ceiling of 400, because they are controlled Airspace! Airspace being a controlled cone, should leave Open space below to fly within your 400' Ceiling! I don't care about a Tower, I am not Commercial Business! Something is not right here! I am looking at my area VFR Sectional map and the "E" Area extends out into areas that are totally uncalled for! Sand Dunes and Beach Areas, Wide open for Miles! Many Miles from the SFC area! Not even a Flight Path for the Small Local Airport! Confusing!

  3. Very good teaching style. Question: I have a private pilot certificate since 1976 which was updated in 2011 to the new format (no SS #). Do I need to get a 107 cert in addition? I had heard that I was good with a private and current BFR. – Thanks
