  1. My controller won’t turn on with the green light and beep. I’ve tried everything from replacing the batteries to holding the button in. I am not sure what’s wrong or if there is a way I can exchange it for a controller. Thanks!

  2. Hi son i wrote you the other day and thanks for the fast response. I went to Walmart to buy the new fpv drones and they had 3. 1 the mini is self explanatory but the other comes in 2 different boxes. There's a regular dr1 fpv and the special edition johnny with his photo on the box. Is it an advertising stunt or are the drones different. And is the dr1 the fastest drone air hogs sells. I called the company no one speaks good English or understands what you try to explained to them.

  3. Hi i did a little research on air hogs batteries and i think this is something that should be advertised. After you replayed to me for giggles i took my helix and removed the battery. Because air hogs sells replacement battery for this unit. My helix unit has a Fall River 3.7/ 600 unit. I went to Fall River web page this is a safety battery there claim it will not get hot, explode, flair up,or set a fire. Its triple sealed and even if you recharge it threw a controller it safe. I haven't raced rc cars since 79/81 but they said this unit as a polymer lipo unit not a regular lipo. This company makes many different battery's how good of a unit i donk know but there claim to safety is important since I'm buying air hogs for gifts for my grand children.
    Thanks for replying.

  4. I'm interested as an old head about 20 years before you were born and now getting back in it since i have grand children. I use to race grasshoppers ect i dont know if they still make them any more. But how does air hogs get away with no disclaimer or being sued. Your other drones with lipo batteries have you recharge them threw the controller from aa alinkinline batteries to a lipo. This must mess up the life of the lipo and shorten the life of your controler from heat and improper recharging. Also you should supply a charger i received my helix and my instruction photo booklet showed plugging my helix into the controler but no such port. After calling 2 times i get a guy who spoke English, not a bad thing but he couldn't figure out how to charge my helix. I get a letter from air hogs and a 10 page booklet mine was a 1 page instruction sheet folded in half. Anyway the new book says to use a cell phone charger or my computer. Well computer lap top ports have different amps for computer projects not drone battries and my cell phone has different amps and volts than the 3.7 volt helix battery. Well i pulled my helix batt out and charged it with my phone charger good thing. My 3.7 was hot,so i ent to a hobby shop bought good batt and a lipo charger with extras and charge my helix right. I use a rubber band around the body to hold it and the batt and change the plug ends to charge the new batt. So i can fly 30 min let the unit cool down and then refly. Please pass the along and ask air hogs what lipo charger they would recommend. I think when you pay $200 for a product better support should be there or a next level up grades by you a expert should be told to us. I'm not ragging on you but I'm looking to buy many air hog race drones for my grand children and i dont want 5 hour charging times. Thats why you lose re buyers you need even on foam bodies just secure them with a rubber band for swap outs.
ON A DIFFERENT NOTE I HAVE 2 GRAND DAUGHTERS WHO ARE JEALOUS OF THERE BROTHERS DRONES HOW ABOUT A PINK ONE FOR THE GIRLS OUT THERE AND A GIRLS RACING TEAM. YOU WOULD BE SURPRISE WHEN I TAKE MY GRAND SON OUT HOW MANY GIRLS ASK ABOUT THE DRONES.
